General English Major
The goal of the English major program at Christ’s College is to equip students to meet the demands of the 21st century by developing: their Christian character, ethics and worldview; their English language proficiency and understanding of English-speaking cultures; their professional, teamwork and leadership skills; and their motivation for life-long learning.
The English Major requires a total of 102 hours of English, 24 of which are met by the general English requirements. To be eligible for graduation, students must have a cumulative average of 70 or higher for all their English courses.

近年台灣推動英語教育從小學紮根，英語教師的需求也隨之增加。本主修可幫助學生發展專業的英語教學技能或繼續攻讀國外英語教學碩士學位。學生必須修習7門與教學相關的科目，其中包括一年的教學實習課程。
學生必須修滿102個英文學分，其中包括24學分的英文通識課程。學生英文課程總平均必須至少達70分才符合畢業要求。
English Language Teaching Major (ELT)
This major allows students to develop the special skills needed to teach English to young learners and prepare for an MA TESOL degree at an English-medium graduate institution. A sequence of seven courses including a yearlong teaching practicum is required in lieu of the general electives offered for the English major.
The ELT Major requires a total of 102 hours of English, 24 of which are met by the general English requirements. To be eligible for graduation, students must have a cumulative average of 70 or higher for all their English courses.
